I hope the baby didn't grew out yet...

Babys wachsen ja bekanntlicher Weise schnell und junge Mädels stricken oft sehr langsam... Das Stricken hat bei diesem Pulli nicht lange gedauert, aber ich hatte lange, lange Zeit keine Knöpfe, denn es mussten ja besondere mit dem Namen vom Kind sein. Davor habe ich mich lange gedrückt, aber jetzt bin ich ganz schön stolz. Ich hoffe die Jacke gefällt und passt.

Babys grow very fast and young girls knit very slow... Knitting this piece didn't take that long but I hadn't had buttons for a long, long time because they had to be very special with the name of the Baby. All the time I got around of it but now I'm really proud. Hopefully the jacket will be liked and fits.

Ich habe selbstringelnde Sockenwolle gemacht.

I made self striping yarn.

Wie es ringelt, zeige ich, wenn ich die Socken fertig habe.

Und gerade habe ich erfahren, dass mein Päckchen auch angekommen ist. Ich habe diese Tasche versendet (übrigens mein Filzversuch aus diesem Eintrag ):

Eigentlich sollte das Teelicht den vorher nachher Effekt zeigen, aber ich hab vergessen es auf das vorher Bild zu legen...

Actual the candle should show the before and after effect but I forgot to put it on the before photo...

sock bag swap 2

Ich habe ja am sbswap2 teilgenommen und heute ist mein Paket angekommen. Ich bin aufgewacht, habe mich im Bett umgedreht und da lag schon das Päckchen. Ich war so aufgeregt und das hat sich nach der ersten Verpackung (Karton) nicht gelöst, denn dies kam zum Vorschein:

Huh, das war ein riesiger Geschenkeklops. Ganz vorsichtig aufgemacht (Studenten sammeln Weihnachtspapier) und heraus kam dies:

Wow this was a huge Giftball. I opened it very careful (students need christmas wrapping) and found this:

Ich bin fast umgefallen und hab mir einen zurecht gestaunt. Also am auffälligsten war natürlich die Tasche. Sie ist aus Kauni Effektgarn und Doppelt gestrickt (also zwei Taschen in einer - wenn ich sie umdrehe, ist die Tasche glatt aber halt nicht normal nur die Innenseite sondern es ist eine Tasche in eine Tasche genäht). Dann war da noch das Nadelspiel (2,5mm Bambus) und die lecker Schoki, die noch nicht probiert, aber für sehr wertvoll befunden wurde. Und dann auch noch 2(!) Mal Sockenwolle (und eine passende Anleitung). Das Knäul ist von Ewas Sockenwolle und der Strang keine Ahnung, aber superschön!

I almost collapsed. The most eye catching thing was the bag of course. It out of Kauni Effect and actual it's 2 bags knitted into one another so I can turn it and wear a smooth side also. Then there was a 2,5mm bamboo dpn set and the delicious choclate wich I want to eat 'in the right moment'. And there were 2(!) balls sockyarn (and a matching pattern). The ball is from Ewas Sockenwolle and the Skein I don't know but nevertheless it's gorgeous!
