Dieses Bild sieht nicht überzeugend aus. Mein Freund, der gerade eh keine Zeit hatte musste es für mich auf die Schnelle machen und das Wetter war nicht prickelnd, aber da kann Photoshop immer helfen. Ich habe also das Bild in Photoshop geöffnet. (ich benutze die englische Version, nur als Warnung, falls mir der Begriff nicht einfällt)
This photo is not convincing. My BF had to take it for me in a hurry and the weather was awful too but photoshop is your best friend with this issues. So I opended the photo in Photoshop.
Zuerst versuche ich immer Autolevels (englisch) das nimmt einem schon so manchmal viel Arbeit ab. Danach sieht das Bild meistens aus, als wäre ein Grauschleier von ihm entfernt worden. Doch manchmal kommen dabei auch komische Farbänderungen heraus. In diesem Fall mache ich Autolevels wieder rückgängig und helle das Bild manuell auf, indem ich Levels (englisch) benutze. Ich ändere dabei dann an den Reglern nur den weißen (rechts) und den schwarzen (links) es ist ja auch nur ein Strickbild =)
Auf dem Bild seht ihr, was Autolevels mit meinem Bild gemacht hat. Sieht jetzt eher nach Krankenhaus Beluchtung aus, aber ich weiß, dass ich das Bild nachträglich wieder gesünder (roter, gelber) aussehen lassen kann und in diesem Schritt ist es erstmal nur wichtig das Weißder Streifen herauszuarbeiten.
I try autolevels first and most of the time this saves a lot of work. After that the photo looks as if you removed a gray filter from it. Sometimes crazy color changes occur. I undo autolevels if this occurs and lighten the photo manually by using levels. In the levels dialog I'm just changing the white (right) and the black (left) control - hey it's only a photo of knitting =)
On the picture you can see what autolevels did to my photo. Looks like lightning in a hospital but at this point its just important to get the white refined . I know I can make it more red or yellow later on.
Danach benutze ich das Zuschneide Werkzeug aus der Werkzeugpalette und suche mir einen Bildausschnitt aus. Ich schneide meine Bilder meistens auf ein Verhältnis von 4:3 3:4 oder 1:1, weil das bei Flickr irgendwie gut aussieht 
Verhältnisse kann man oben links in die beiden Fenster für Breite (z.b. 3cm) und Höhe(z.b. 4cm) eingeben.
After that I crop my image using the crop tool from the toolbar. I like to crop images to a ratio of 4:3 3:4 or 1:1 since it looks cool on Flickr You can type in the ratio on the top left in the width and height boxes.
Ich fand es interessant das Ei als Mittelpunkt des Bildes zu nehmen. Es ist nicht ganz in der Mitte, so sieht es dynamischer aus.
I liked the idea of putting the egg in the middle. It's not exactly in the middle that makes it look more dynamic.
Das Foto war etwas unscharf deshalb habe ich es geschärft. Unter Filter habe ich Unscharf maskieren gewählt und an den beiden oberen Reglern gespielt. Den zweiten Regle stelle ich meistens so auf 2 und den letzten auf 0. Der erste wird je nachdem wie gut es auf der Vorschau aussieht eingestellt. Kannst du den Unterschied sehen?
The image was a little blurry so I used unsharp mask from the Filter menu and played with the first two controls. The second control in my settings is alsways about 2 the last one always at 0 and the first one depends on the preview. Can you see the difference?
Jetzt weg vom kalten Look. Ich halte Strg+b gedrückt und es erscheint ein Dialog. Dort stelle ich ca 5mm mehr rot ein (erster Regler nach rechts) und 3mm gelb (letzter Regler nach links). Dann siehts gleich sonniger aus.
Away from the cold look of the image! Hold Ctrl+b and a dialog appears. With the first bar I adjust red a little by dragging it to the right (5)and in the last bar I adjust yellow(-3) by dragging it a litte to the left. It looks much more sunnier now.
Und da es zu übertrieben aussehen würde die Regler noch weiter zu ziehen, mir die Farbe aber zu lasch ist, wähle ich im aktuellen Dialog erstmal OK und drücke danach Strg+u. Dort ziehe ich den Regler für Sättingung etwas weiter nach rechts. Das wars. Ich verkleinere das Bild noch, indem ich Bild und dann Bildgröße wähle und sie auf 800x600 stelle.
It would look too over the top to move the control any further but the color is still too unsaturated. I click OK on the current window and then hold Ctrl+u. In this dialog I move the control for saturation to the right. That's iit. I resize the image by choosing image and then image size and set it to 800x600.
